This micro-adjust rod is an upgrade for the Veritas standard wheel marking gauge. This stainless-steel rod features a built-in fine adjustment mechanism. Once fitted to the Veritas wheel-marking gauge it allows you to fine-tune the cutter projection, within a range of 6.35mm. A fine-pitch internal thread allows slow, careful adjustment, so setting the gauge precisely is simple. Each complete rotation of the adjustment knob moves the cutter 1mm.
