- The bradawl has a square blade with a pointed tip, fitted with a Beech wood handle and finished with a brass ferrule.
- A tool designed to create small starter holes or indentations in wood, leather, or other materials before inserting screws, nails, or other fasteners.
- Use of a bradawl reduces the risk of splitting your workpiece.
By using a bradawl to create a pilot hole, it becomes easier to drive screws or nails accurately and without the risk of the material splitting. The pointed end of the bradawl helps to make a small groove, allowing the screw or nail to follow a precise path and providing better control during the fastening process. Bradawls are particularly useful when working with delicate or thin materials where splitting is a concern.
Blade Length: 40mm approx.
