Replacement Thicker Plane Blade - No 4 1/2, 5 1/2, 6, 7

A British made replacement cutting iron constructed from Carbon steel thicker iron (01). This blade is approximately 50% thicker than original equivalent plane blades.

This plane blade probably also fits other similar planes made by different makers (eg. Marples, Union, Woden etc.) but please check the dimensions against your plane.

Important Note: If you have an old Stanley 5 1/2 plane or old Record 05 1/2 plane please check the width of your plane / current plane blade to make sure this is the correct sized blade as some of the older planes were fitted with a narrower 2 1/4" blade.
