This impressive Clifton smoothing plane incorporates the design of the ‘BEDROCK’ frog and frog seating pad, a rigid cap iron, a ground flat sole within the British Standard of 0.075mm (0.003”), beautiful Walnut rear handle and front knob, and finished with a graphite grey finish.

This Clifton plane comes complete with a fully machined frog and an extra thick plane blade made from cryogenically treated 01 tool steel; a combination which holds its edge for much longer than most blades. Made in Sheffield, England, this Clifton plane comes complete with presentation box and care instructions.
