Clifton Planes

These high quality / beautifully engineered Clifton Planes are produced in Sheffield in traditional methods with many of the Clifton planes modelled on popular vintage models from the likes of Edward Preston and Stanley with all the Clifton bench planes incorporating the design of the ‘BEDROCK’ frog and frog seating pad much like on the popular vintage Stanley Bedrock planes. The Plane Iron 3mm thick and made from cryogenically treated 01 steel, hardened and tempered to 60-62 Rockwell C. Plane handle and knob are made from Walnut sealed and have a fine finish to give a lovely feel in the hand.
